Children’s Ministry
Our church is blessed with around 300 children and Sunday School teachers drawn from both Tamil and English congregations. We have our own Sunday School materials/syllabus that are very effective. Every first Saturday of the month, Training is organized for the Sunday School teachers who are trained and equipped with materials to teach the children.
Every week children enjoy attending Sunday School where the Scriptures are taught through songs, stories and crafts. We have also adopted the “Bible Books” system for behavior management. It is a great way to reward children for their good behavior during Sunday School. Once the children have accumulated sufficient Bible Books, they are allowed to trade it in for assorted prizes from the Bible Books Market once in 3 months.
Outreach Ministry
WE LIVE TO PRAISE HIMEvery Sunday evening, a team of believers, who have a burden, go to the nearby areas for Personal Evangelism and giving out Gospel tracts. The church also conducts Gospel Outreach ministries during the Lent days along with 40 days of Fasting Prayer and also during the Christmas-New Year season with 21 days of Fasting Prayer.
Youth Ministry
Jesus Fire Church
The pillars of Jesus Fire Church – the Youth Wing. The church has about 120 youngsters who serve the Lord with zeal. The church has a Youth Service, Youth Fellowships and Prayer Walks. They are actively involved in prayers, evangelism and in the media activities of the church.
Care for the Needy
Jesus Fire ChurchThe Jesus Fire Church not only caters to the spiritual needs of the people but also extends a helping hand in time of natural disasters like cyclones, floods etc. It also provides special help to the poor and needy students towards their education and provides financial support to the poor families towards marriage expenses and other needs.
Hospital Ministry
Jesus Fire Church
Believers of Jesus Fire Church, having compassion for the sick, visit hospitals and pray for their healing.
The church encourages believers to set up Gospel Meetings in their houses, inviting their friends and relatives like Cornelius in the Bible. The church has a team who goes and ministers to the people at these gatherings.
